13 is NOT confirmed

Just want to clarify something in the Ideal Copy e-mail below. '13' has not been confirmed as the title of the new album.

Update: Here's the latest from Chris - "LeAnn got the info from our main import supplier. Here is the exact text:

"Brand new single 'THE ONLY ONE' which is a slice of pop Cure pop not seen since the late 90's. It is taken from the bands new double album to be released in September called '13'. This single will be the 1st of four collectable singles released prior to the album. All formats will be limited collectors editions. The Cure start the leg of the World tour in the USA on the 9th May."

I assumed that this is information supplied by Universal to the importer. but that may be an incorrect assumption?"
(Thanks to Chris @ Ideal Copy)

  3. If the title has to be 13, I hope they at least spell it out.

'Thirteen' has an elegance to it that '13' lacks. I think.

  4. i think "13" is a good title too.because could be a wish come true for rober, everybody know that robert has an obsession with "3 and 13"..the three sister...three....the13th....39....why not this "13"...however if they change the name no problem the cure always have been a marvelous names of each album...i will always be there..as a loyal fan...even they composed a SALSA(latin music)or a Rap(worst music ever)but if coming from the cure there is no problem..

  6. I never liked that number but I guess that's just personal taste. I don't care about the name, really, as long as the album is great. ;)

Btw, I've just read NKOTB's new single's gonna be released on 13 May ... that just made me giggle :D
