Kansas City info

"I just got off of the phone with someone at the Starlight theater here in Kansas City and I thought everyone might like to know that they do not have a camera policy. As long as it's a standard point and click type of camera they are fine with it. Also, there is no curfew for the theater, so The Cure can play for as long as they like.
Last item, doors are at 5, so if people decide to get there early there is a good chance of catching the sound check."
(Thanks Frank)

  3. Well, since Craig seemed to do a pretty good job of predicting the Chicago encores for us, maybe he can "predict" the KC setlist in real time for us if no one gives us live updates. :)

  5. V - Not yet. But I never really know until the day of the show. Sometimes not until the show actually starts.

  7. I would urge people pointing cameras above their heads to be considerate, though, and keep in mind the people behind you who won't be able to see the band if you do this. It really ruins a show when someone shoves their cell phone or camera in front of your view!

Seriously, the rest of us can wait for the DVD. The paying crowd deserve the best audio/visual experience they can get.

  9. I almost went to visit my brother and go with him to this, but he messed up and scheduled a vacation, so I mailed him the tickets. He found some folks to buy 'em. I hope they have a good time. From my experience so far, they're pretty great seats because they're at the far left. I can't believe I was so upset at the time. I hope The Cure continue to play arenas. So much better than the Toronto Molson Amphitheater, which had a crappy lightshow being outdoors. The Cure's lightshow was even better than Interpol's. Really beautiful.

    Enjoy yourselves, Midwesterners!
