More new album articles

Billboard, Pitchfork, and The Boston Herald have articles about the new album. (Thanks Austin and Kate)

  1. The Boston Herald called self-titled a "largely forgettable effort." They can smooch my derriere. I am listening to it now and still enjoying it, even though I do have reservations about it.

*waits for monkeybutt's inevitable slagging of the eponymous*

    *rolls eyes*

  3. craig those articles suuuuuuuuuucked.

Just kidding, from that Billboard one it sounds like the singles will be on the album. From that Pitchfork one it sounds like that too. From the Boston Herald article I can tell that guy doesn't like the untitled album very much. I would have to disagree though, but I bet that guy doesn't have TG&B, Fake, GN, and TB on his album.

  4. Scroll down monkeybutt.

Can we just get a damn tracklisting already (not from those sources obviously) so that all those charades can end?

I want to crush your wishful thinking once and for all!

  7. Exactly, ben. TGB, Fake, GN, TM are GEMS! But sure, they could have left off a few stinkers and made a more cohesive piece.

PS Anyone else in the mood to ditch work early? *skulks the halls anonymously*

  14. I was wondering the same thing... and I don't actually remember reading this quote anywhere else.
What's wrong with the press these days? This articles are very... shitty.

  16. Pitchfork calls Robert a "perenial mope"...how bl**dy rude! *sigh* how boring it becomes when these people latch on to a description probably used oh so many years ago, finding an old review in a back of a cupboard covered in dust...why don't they actually take note of the artist and the music which is CURRENT? Mope? I think not!! Robert has a certain *sparkle* in his eyes these days...mope my aussie a*se!!!

  17. You tell um Feather.

It's strange how these terms have stuck, even if the new singles are some of the happiest pop songs they have ever released.

  18. Why does it seem like every one of these pieces have incorrect information?

  19. Thanks for sharing! Not much in these articles that we don't know already but it's good The Cure are getting some press for the new album. The more it's out in the public, the more people will find out & hopefully give it a listen.
